What is IQOS ILUMA i PRIME

 

The IQOS ILUMA i PRIME is a robust, intuitive, and easy to use tobacco heating device. Like previous IQOS ILUMA devices, the new IQOS ILUMA i PRIME uses a SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology to heat tobacco. This technology means no tobacco is heated, not burnt and there is no heating blade. The result is no cleaning required and no tobbacco residue.

What are the New Features of the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME?
 

 

The IQOS ILUMA i PRIME has 4 new smart features: FlexPuff, Pause Mode, FlexBattery, and Touch Screen. 
 

 

Touch screen

 

IQOS ILUMA i PRIME features a Touch Screen that allows you to quickly and easily see information about your experience for your convenience. Information displayed on the Touch Screen includes: 
 

- How much time you have left of your experience.
 

- The number of available experiences.
 

- The pre-heating status.





 

What Do the Symbols on the Touch Screen Mean?

 

 

The Touch Screen displays a number of symbols that help you to understand your device. For example, 1 or 2 horizontal lines blinking 8 times indicates that the battery is discharged.

 

Pause Mode

 

 

Pause Mode is an advanced feature that enables pausing the experience for up to 8 minutes and resume it.* You can simply activate Pause Mode by sliding the finger down across the Touch Screen. 
 

Some of the benefits of Pause Mode include: 
 

- Convenient
 

- Extended flexibility – you use device at a pace that suits you
 

- Better use of the tobacco stick
 

*Only available in Performance Mode, during the first 3 minutes or 8 puffs of the experience. When pause is activated, Performance Mode gives adult users up to 2 consecutive experiences and pause is available only for 1 of them.

 

 

FlexPuff

 

 

As the name suggests, FlexPuff is a feature of IQOS ILUMA i PRIME that enables a more flexible experience compared to previous IQOS devices. The feature may provide you with 4 extra puffs.** 
 

FlexPuff automatically adapts to you based on your individual usage patterns, so you don't have to worry about activating it yourself. 
 

Some benefits of FlexPuff include:
 

- An adaptive experience 
 

- Optimal tobacco stick usage and a longer stick duration
 

**FlexPuff activation and number of puffs depend on individual usage patterns, thus extended experience might not apply to all experiences. FlexPuff does not activate when pause is used.

 

 

FlexBattery

 

 

IQOS ILUMA i PRIME also has a FlexBattery feature, so you can manage the holder battery. With FlexBattery, you can switch between 2 modes for the IQOS ILUMA Holder: Eco Mode and Performance Mode. Each mode has its own unique advantages.  
 

 

Performance Mode

 

 

Performance Mode is the default mode of your IQOS ILUMA i PRIME. With Performance Mode, you can have:
 

- 2 experiences of up to 6 minutes with one Pause Mode available.
 

OR
 

- 3 consecutive uses of up to 6 minutes each (with no Pause Mode available). 

 

 

Eco Mode

 

 

Alternatively, you can switch your Battery Holder to Eco Mode via the IQOS App. This sets your Battery Holder to single use only, lasting up to 6 minutes (Pause Mode is not available).

IQOS ILUMA i PRIME comes in 4 colours: Garnet Red, Midnight Black, Breeze Blue, and Aspen Green.

Which Tobacco Sticks Can I Use With the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME?
 

IQOS ILUMA i is designed to be used only with tobacco sticks specially designed for IQOS ILUMA. Do not use IQOS ILUMA and tobacco sticks designed for IQOS ILUMA with previous IQOS generations, as this may cause damage to your device.
